Laguna Golf Course was designed by the American Joseph Lee. Unlike the other Oceānico courses, Laguna is located on relatively flat, open terrain. The basis of its modern design is its strategic placement of bunkers and water hazards which demand accuracy of play. The back nine flow out towards the sand dunes protecting the flattish terrain from the sea.
The lakes are full of bird life and the wind is almost always present - gusting in off the sea. This course has great variety, from pleasant undulating fairways to vicious dog-legs and water hazards - a real test of golf!
