Millennium Golf Course was designed by architect Martin Hawktree, and opened in May 2000. Unlike the tree-lined courses of Pinhal and Old Course, this is more of a parkland course. The former "North" loop from the Laguna course underwent an extensive refurbishment and with the new nine holes, a layout was born that offers variety and beauty to the visiting golfer.
When a course is as visually appealing as this one, it is hard to determine which hole will linger longest in the mind, but the twisting and turning par-4 seventh is a contender. Shadows of trees, mounds and hollows dissecting the fairway conspire to confuse, but a well struck and very accurate drive will set up a comfortable approach to the green.
